BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – North Zulch ISD is hoping to promote healthy living with food samples, local vendors and activities for health and wellness at this stride and thrive market.
This free community event was created to try and encourage community members to learn about healthy ways of living, and they will be offering free food samples as well as fun for the whole family to encourage movement.
Organizer and North Zulch ISD student William Kirk says he has been calling to schedule vendors and that this is the biggest event he has ever been a part of at the school. He also said it’s a perfect way to end the school year.
“We wanted to have something that kind of celebrates, our community and the end of the school years to kind of like encapsulate the whole year.”
The market is happening Saturday, March 15 at the North Zulch ISD Track from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. For more information, visit their Facebook page.
