The crowd winds around the health fair Saturday.
The gymnasium at the College of Central Florida filled with steady foot traffic as the Citrus County Chronicle hosted its 2026 Spring Healthy Living Show on Saturday.
Residents stopped by booths staffed by local health providers, nonprofits and county departments, gathering information on medical services, insurance options, mental health resources and wellness programs. Representatives from Tampa General Hospital, Meals on Wheels of Citrus County and NAMI were among those offering guidance, along with dozens of other organizations.
Local members of Crystal River Jazzercise were on hand Saturday.
Attendees took advantage of free health screenings, interactive exhibits and prize drawings, while the Blue Door Pizza food truck from the Boys & Girls Clubs of Citrus and Marion County served lunch outside.
By the time the event wrapped up at 1 p.m., many left with new contacts and a clearer picture of the health and wellness resources available throughout Citrus County.
