Participants will learn about the connection between stress and eating habits
An educational program titled “Healthy Eating During Stressful Times” will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 25, at the Carroll County District Library, 70 Second St. NE, Carrollton.
The session will explore how stress affects the body, including its influence on appetite, cravings and digestion. Participants will learn about the connection between stress and eating habits, as well as practical strategies for planning healthy meals and snacks during busy or challenging times.
The program also will cover mindful eating practices and other healthy, non-food ways to manage stress and build resilience.
The event is free and open to the public, but reservations are requested by calling the Carroll County District Library at 330-627-2613.
The program is sponsored by OSU Extension — Carroll County and the Carroll County District Library.
