It is part of a broader initiative supported by Sport England and the NHS to improve wellbeing through physical activity.
Emma Eva, festival director and a Falmouth businesswoman, said: “FalFit will be a festival of fitness under the Sport England and NHS initiative to improve people’s lives be encouraging them to take part in sport in their area.
“It is aimed at all ages, families and individuals.
“We hope it will become an annual event and will be extended to other towns in the future.”
Organisers are inviting sports clubs and activity providers to get involved and showcase their offerings.
Ms Eva added: “If you are a sports club or an activity provider we would love you to take part and share your activities through the platform of FalFit.
“Let’s work together to get the people of Falmouth even more active.”
