The trend of living a healthy life and sports continues to be created to attract people’s interest in maintaining health. One way that is done is to hold a series of events that are not only healthy but also lively.
In an effort to invite the public to care more about health and an active lifestyle, Holywings Cares again to hold Healthy Gymnastics activities at Livehouse and Shoot Langit Batam on Sunday, October 26. This activity was attended by hundreds of participants from various circles, the majority of the general public from young to old people, especially residents from Sungai Jodoh Village and Tanjung Uma Village.
Held since Sunday morning, the lively atmosphere has been guided by professional gymnastics instructors with light and energetic gymnastics movements that are suitable for all ages. Not only that, but participants are also invited to take part in stretching and relaxation sessions to maintain body fitness after exercise.
Andrew Susanto, President Commissioner of Holywings Group and Chair of the Holywings Care CSR Program revealed that this event is part of a routine program that is held to educate the public about various health issues.
Our goal is simple, which is to remind the public that health is a long-term investment. By exercising regularly such as healthy exercise, the body becomes fitter, the mind is fresher, and immunity increases,” said Andrew Susanto in a written broadcast, October 26.
In addition to gymnastics sessions, the event is also filled with short education about the importance of light exercise to prevent various chronic diseases such as obesity, diabetes, and heart problems. Participants seemed enthusiastic about participating in the whole series of activities, especially because of a warm and full of positive energy family atmosphere.
“Usually the sport feels heavy, but through an event like this it becomes fun. The music is fun, the movement is easy to follow, and the atmosphere is encouraging,” said Lina, one of the participants who took part in the event.
Holywings Peduli in collaboration with Livehouse and Shoot Langit Batam also provides interesting entertainment. This entertainment contains a competition entitled ‘People’s Party’ which is intended for 100 other residents who come.
The first competition was the game throws the ring into a cone with a cellphone and basic necessities. Followed by the ping pong relay competition, where the group of participants passed ping pong to other participants until they arrived at the last participant.
With this series of activities, Holywings Peduli hopes that the public will be more aware of maintaining health, not having to be difficult or expensive, just by moving regularly, socializing, and maintaining a balanced lifestyle.
