Dole partners with Minecraft to promote healthy eating habits

Dole Food Company has announced a partnership with Minecraft to promote healthy eating and nutrition awareness among families through a campaign running from October 2025 to March 2026. The initiative will be active in the United States, Canada, Germany, Italy, Greece, and the Netherlands.

The “Make the World a Healthier Place” campaign combines digital engagement with educational materials focused on nutrition, hydration, and balanced diets. Participants can access resources through Dole’s website, which includes downloadable activity sheets, recipes, and games inspired by Minecraft.

As part of the campaign, Minecraft players will be able to unlock a Dole Banana Hoodie for their in-game character by visiting Dole’s website and uploading a Dole banana sticker or pineapple tag. The company will also release limited-edition banana stickers and pineapple tags featuring Minecraft characters, introduced in two waves from October through March.

The campaign includes recipes designed to demonstrate how fruits like bananas and pineapples can serve as energy sources for both gaming and daily activity. Items such as smoothies, parfaits, and fruit bowls will be featured on the website alongside other digital materials.

William Goldfield, director of corporate communications at Dole Food Company, said the partnership is intended to engage families through an interactive platform. “By blending fun, creativity, and education, we are connecting with a new generation of consumers in a way that feels natural and exciting. We want to show kids not only where their food comes from and how it is grown, but also how the right foods can fuel their adventures, whether in the game or in real life,” he said.

The collaboration marks the first time Dole has launched a coordinated campaign across both North America and Europe. Additional phases are planned to build on the connection between healthy eating and interactive play.
