Kanpur: People are becoming increasingly health-conscious, as witnessed at the Bithoor Mahotsav on Sunday when a substantial crowd visited the ‘Eat Right’ section organised by Food Security and Drug Administration. The crowd not only sought dietary advice but also purchased products made from millets and other wholesome grains. The visitors explored 20 stalls and purchased Shri Ann.
The Food Safety and Drug Administration Department of Kanpur disseminated comprehensive and engaging information through various channels, which remained a prominent attraction for the massive crowd at the Eat Right Fair.
Visitors enthusiastically explored all stalls, learning about nutritious eating habits whilst making numerous food purchases. People were observed visiting the millet and Shri Ann stalls at the Eat Right Mela, sampling nutritious and flavourful dishes prepared from millets. They commended this specialised fair organised by the food department. District’s assistant commissioner (Food) Sanjay Pratap Singh and his team of officers were present throughout the three days the mahotsava. tnn
