Tobore Oborevwori, wife of Delta State Governor and founder, You Matter Charity Foundation (YMCF) has sustained her advocacy on healthy living and community wellness, encouraging Deltans to adopt physical exercise as their daily routine.
The campaign carried out through the “You Matter Walk4Life” fitness initiative in Asaba, Delta State Capital and is among the numerous initiatives under the (YMCF) aimed at promoting wellness, empowerment, and social impact across Delta State.
The event with the theme, “10,000 Steps for Life” brought together hundreds of participants from different walks of life including government officials, youth groups, and fitness enthusiasts, who joined the First Lady on a morning walk from the Interbua- roundabout to Government House, Asaba.
An elated Tobore expressed heartfelt appreciation to everyone who turned out for the event.
In a word of exhortation, Charles Osemenia, a Venerable inspired the participants even as he commended the First Lady for her vision and leadership.
He described the Walk4Life as not just a fitness campaign but a call to value life and wellbeing.
He therefore urged the participants to “see every step as a step toward a healthier and more purposeful life.
The event concluded with cheers, music, and renewed energy among participants who pledged to continue taking daily steps toward healthier living.
