A new clinic is in Sidney that focuses on helping a client understand his or her body better with a goal of healthy living.
SIDNEY — The Cheyenne County Chamber of Commerce met at Integrated Health and Wellness Thursday for a ribbon cutting event.
Integrated Health and Wellness focuses on helping a person maintain his or her body and its wellness. Owner Tom Jones quotes Winston Churchill in the company’s motto.
“There are two things in life that are important, health and time. If you take care of your health, you will have more time,” Jones said.
Integrated Health and Wellness offers vitamin therapies, IV infusions, hormonal therapy, weight loss, blood testing and physical exams.
During Thursday’s ribbon cutting he talked about the role of menopause, even in men.
“Ten years ago, you wouldn’t even mention it. It wasn’t a topic you talked about. Now we find out that it affects men as much as it affects women. Men start losing testosterone at age 35 or so, and we lose 3 percent a year. I was a slow learner. I woke up several years ago and said where did the muscle in my shoulders go? I’m not as strong as I used to be. What am I going to do about it?” he said.
Jones said because of his age, he can’t rebuild muscles, but he can maintain.
They also have a dietician and a Nurse Practitioner on staff.
Integrarted Health and Wellness is located at 940 9th Ave, Suite 2, Sidney.
