First Lady of Nigeria, Remi Tinubu, has described clean energy as essential to human survival, healthy living and environmental stewardship.
In a message to mark the International Day of Clean Energy 2026, commemorated on January 26 under the theme “Clean Energy for People and Planet,” Senator Tinubu said the occasion serves as a reminder of the shared responsibility to protect and preserve the environment.
She urged individuals and communities to embrace renewable energy and sustainable technologies, stressing that they form a critical foundation for survival and healthy living.
The First Lady also called for collective effort in building a greener and healthier planet for present and future generations.
She concluded by extending goodwill messages to Nigerians and others marking the International Day of Clean Energy 2026.
